Daoura Insights has reported continued increases in social media manifestations about coronavirus. It is a natural and expected movement, as cases increase in South America and lead to more social debates on the subject.
With the worsening of the crisis in Chile and neighboring countries (especially with measures such as border shutdowns), it is also expected that people feel afraid of what may happen to them during the pandemic.
Nevertheless, and as good news, the social manifestations that reinforce preventive actions have grown since last March 8th, especially those that promote social distancing, such as "avoiding crowds", which shows an increase (and upward trend) in raising people's awareness of the crisis.
The platform’s latest alert shows that “avoid crowds” continues in a future upward tendency, while “prevention” shows a downward trend.
